SUBJECT: SICK DAYS
We will no longer accept a doctor's note as proof of sickness. If you were well enough to go to the doctor, you were well enough to have come to work. If you have any questions, please discuss them with your immediate supervisor.

I guess it depends on your type of job. If you have a very physical demanding job then I think it is possible to go to the doctor but not be able to work. Example.... Dance instructor, personal trainer, construction worker....etc.
